Radhekrishna! Happy to announce Kum.Kaveri from our school Bharat batch is part of PSBB SIRUSERI team Sung Tarangams on 2nd March
RamRasayan Global grooms over 200 students across the globe in classical music, dance and many other Indian performing arts.
Art is best learned in the following scenario –
continuous tutoring and motivation are required with sustained efforts in the right direction.
Interest in the art has to be nurtured through holistic training.
Dedication to the art is easy to expect from the student but is actually the duty of the tutor to build through innovative training.
Training has to be backed up by strong curriculum/study material and videos.
Benefits of training-
Music is a spiritual connect.
It is an activity that generates calmness and peace of mind.
Singing is a type of pranayama and improves health in short and long term.
Mental agility developed through exercises.
Daily Naama chanting.
Daily training in music (indirectly voice culture)
Age –No bar
Way forward – After the workshop, RamRasayan Global will facilitate continued learning by developing a hybrid model combining offline and online classes for interested learners.
PERFORMING ARTS IS BEST LEARNT THROUGH CONNECTION WITH A CLASS AND MENTOR WHO ARE CONSISTENT IN TEACHING AND LIBERAL IN PROVIDING STUDY MATERIAL AND RECORDINGS - WHETHER ITS OFFLINE OR ONLINE IS SECONDARY.
RamRasayan Global is the brainchild of Dr Bhairavi Vaitheeswaran who has over three decades of experience in Indian Classical music. An engineer from College of Engineering Guindy, an A grade artiste at AIR, Chennai, a PhD in Sanskrit and music has helped her setup the ideal online platform to learn what we have always wanted to at the convenience of our homes.
Dr Bhairavi Vaitheeswaran is a disciple of Late Shri and Smt Kedaranathan for classical vocal and a disciple of Smt vishakha Hari for harikatha.
Practically all children under 10 years of age these days learn carnatic music but only a very few, a handful, have music paving their way forth in their journey into the world. The music system of South India is so deep that great people spend lifetimes just swimming around, the works they leave behind are their gifts to us, and as responsible parents, we have to pass on these gems to our younger generation.
Carnatic music is taught effectively through careful methodology. It is very crucial that we sustain the interest for the art in children through continuous tutoring and motivation rather than follow the traditional setup of two classes per week where the interest in the art takes a lot of time to build. The idea is that whatever light the teacher carries in the form of the music she has, has to be transmitted to each student by consciously nurturing the lamp within her to glow progressively steadier so that at one stage the student becomes independent enough to glow on her own, with the knowledge to sustain her own supply of energy to her lamp. It is only till this stage that a teacher is required.
RamRasayan offers classical music, dance, and instrument classes under distinguished gurus, providing a pressure-free learning environment.
Technology supports remote classes and recordings, enhancing accessibility and convenience.
Modules tailored to different age groups foster learning among like-minded peers.
Enrollment starts from a young age, with singing classes recommended for children as young as 3.5 years old.
Immediate results are not expected, with the focus on children enjoying their time in class rather than achieving technical proficiency.
A strict curriculum and monitoring process ensure progress without burdening parents with follow-up responsibilities.
Early enrollment in music modules allows children to reach a significant level of skill before academic pressures increase.
Vocal singing serves as a foundational skill for instrument modules, simplifying the transition between disciplines.
RamRasayan fosters a cooperative learning atmosphere where students of all ages, including children, support each other's growth.
Facilitators guide the learning process while encouraging active participation and mutual assistance among students.
